Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers specifically to the funding for the physical dwelling itself—designed with specialized housing solutions and accessible layouts for individuals with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. It is important to note that SDA funding strictly covers the building infrastructure and physical environment, not your day-to-day personal support workers or Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.
