Jack specialises in tattoos that look like tattoos, with an affinity for traditional Japanese and American styles. He knew what he wanted from a young age - to be tattooed and to do tattoos. Inspired by the sailors and bikers around the port towns he grew up in, Jack picked up the machine as soon as he could and has never looked back. Having started in 2003, Jack was around when modern tattooing solidified itself into western culture but not before travelling around the world and finding influence in every culture he could. Captain of Broadway Tattoo, piercer of Adam and Eve, Rob’s been pushing needles and slinging bling since before it was cool. Starting in Edinburgh, Scotland Rob experienced the humble beginnings of modern body piercing and took his knowledge back home to Australia, up and down the Hume Highway til he settled in the inner west of Sydney, where he took up residency at Industrial Strength. After a lifetime operating out of Newtown, Rob opened Broadway Tattoo and Body Piercing where he created what can only be described as a sterile art gallery. With stories a’plenty and true-blue commitment to the cause, Rob’s the go-to guy for your hand made holes.
