At Bridges Alliance, every outing is an opportunity to build independence, social connections, and confidence.

Josh recently enjoyed a wonderful day out in **Campbelltown** alongside his dedicated support worker, **Jonel**. Whether it's exploring the local community, engaging in meaningful conversations, or simply enjoying time out and about, community access plays an important role in supporting participants to achieve their individual goals and live life their way.

Seeing Josh's smile and confidence grow through positive community experiences is what person-centred support is all about. 💙

🌟 Building Skills, Confidence & Independence in SIL 🌟

There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of preparing a delicious meal from scratch and enjoying the results of your hard work!

Recently, Sam spent time in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home developing his cooking and daily living skills by preparing a quick and tasty 20-minute prawn and vegetable stir-fry with Hokkien noodles. From mixing ingredients and following recipes to safely working in the kitchen, Sam demonstrated great focus and enthusiasm throughout the cooking process.

To top off a productive day, Sam also baked a batch of delicious Raspberry & White Chocolate Muffins, filling the home with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked treats. 🍤🥕🍜🧁

Activities like meal preparation and baking provide valuable opportunities to build confidence, increase independence, and develop practical life skills that support participants in achieving their personal goals. Most importantly, they create moments of enjoyment, accomplishment, and pride.

At Bridges Alliance, we are passionate about supporting participants to learn new skills, make meaningful choices, and enjoy everyday experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
