May is Stroke Awareness Month πŸ’œ

At Care Wide, we proudly stand together to recognise and support stroke survivors, their families, and dedicated caregivers. A stroke can change lives in an instant, but with awareness, fast action, and the right support, recovery and hope are always possible.

This month is a reminder to educate ourselves and others about the signs of stroke using F.A.S.T.:
🟣 Face – drooping on one side
🟣 Arms – weakness or numbness
🟣 Speech – slurred or difficult
🟣 Time – act quickly and call emergency services

Every second counts, and knowing these signs can truly save a life.

We also take this time to highlight the importance of prevention β€” maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managing blood pressure, staying active, and attending regular health check-ups can all reduce the risk of stroke.

To every stroke survivor, your strength and resilience inspire us every day. To families and caregivers, your compassion and support make a world of difference. At Care Wide, we remain committed to providing care, dignity, and encouragement to all those impacted.

Let’s continue to raise awareness, share knowledge, and stand united in support. Together, we can make a difference. πŸ’œ
