Today, the Care Wide team completed refresher training in First Aid, CPR, and Infection Control as part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe, high-quality care and support to our community.

Continuous learning and regular skills revision ensure our staff remain confident, prepared, and up to date with best practices in emergency response, client safety, and infection prevention.

A big thank you to all our dedicated team members for their participation and commitment to professional development. Together, we continue to strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional care and support to those who rely on our services.

🌸 Thank You from Care Wide Management 🌸

A heartfelt thank you to Bridget and the entire Heartfelt Community team for hosting such a beautiful and meaningful Mother’s Day Event at Strathfield Town Hall.

The day was filled with warmth, compassion, connection, and support for women navigating grief and remembrance. It was truly a special gathering that created a safe and caring space for reflection, shared stories, and honouring loved ones held close in our hearts. 💐

Guests were also treated to relaxing neck and shoulder massages and hand massages, which added a calming and nurturing touch to the day, helping everyone feel cared for and supported. 💆‍♀️💖

We are grateful for the kindness, dedication, and community spirit shown throughout the event. Thank you for bringing people together and reminding us all that love truly lives on. 💙

Care Wide and Angels Link would like to sincerely thank Wendy Lindsay and the East Hills SEC for hosting such a beautiful Mother’s Day Sparkling High Tea this afternoon. 🌸☕✨

It was a wonderful event celebrating women, community, and connection, with an inspiring atmosphere enjoyed by all who attended.

A special thank you also to Kellie Sloane MP, NSW Leader of the Opposition, along with the amazing guest speakers, for sharing their insights and making the afternoon so memorable.

We truly appreciated the invitation and the opportunity to be part of such a lovely community event. 💙

May is Stroke Awareness Month 💜

At Care Wide, we proudly stand together to recognise and support stroke survivors, their families, and dedicated caregivers. A stroke can change lives in an instant, but with awareness, fast action, and the right support, recovery and hope are always possible.

This month is a reminder to educate ourselves and others about the signs of stroke using F.A.S.T.:
🟣 Face – drooping on one side
🟣 Arms – weakness or numbness
🟣 Speech – slurred or difficult
🟣 Time – act quickly and call emergency services

Every second counts, and knowing these signs can truly save a life.

We also take this time to highlight the importance of prevention — maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managing blood pressure, staying active, and attending regular health check-ups can all reduce the risk of stroke.

To every stroke survivor, your strength and resilience inspire us every day. To families and caregivers, your compassion and support make a world of difference. At Care Wide, we remain committed to providing care, dignity, and encouragement to all those impacted.

Let’s continue to raise awareness, share knowledge, and stand united in support. Together, we can make a difference. 💜
