I still can’t quite believe I’m writing these words...
From Sydney to Melbourne, Los Angeles to New York, each studio has carried a little piece of the same dream.When I first dreamed of opening a studio in London, I imagined it would be simple - a London chapter to my other studios.
Somewhere intimate and private, a little exclusive, yet warm and unhurried enough that you’d never want to leave. What I didn’t realise was how much that one small word, “simple,” would come to ask of me!
It had to be Mayfair. It had to be Mount Street. And not just anywhere on Mount Street, a very particular end of it (I can laugh about that now). I wanted a place that felt like the apartment I’d live in if I called Mayfair home, the kind of place where I’d gather my favourite people around me, day after day. (Perhaps that is next).
I also knew the space had to feel timeless, quietly complementing the city around it. There’s a certain magic the very best can conjure in a room and I knew exactly whose hands I could trust to create it , acclaimed interior designer, Rose Uniacke.
With her extraordinary eye for light, texture and restraint, Rose understood every unspoken thing I hoped for, and has created a space so beautiful and calming that you feel the comforts of home from the moment you arrive for your treatment.
This project took far more years than I care to admit. There were moments I wondered if it would ever truly arrive. And yet, here it is!
I can’t wait to welcome you into our Mayfair sanctuary.
