🚨Spot the mistake. Hint: it’s happening before the arm even starts moving ‼️

If your shoulder is creeping up towards your ear during this exercise, you’re missing out on the very thing this movement is designed to train: rotator cuff control.

The “Draw the Sword” exercise helps improve shoulder stability and strength, but only when done correctly. Shrugging shifts the work into the neck and upper traps, while the rotator cuff takes a back seat.

Small adjustment. Big difference.

Bridging is a great exercise for glutes, core, and spine mobility, but we notice these small mistakes in our studio all the time.

Rather than moving quickly and arching through your back, gently engage your pelvic floor and core. Exhale to tilt pelvis towards your head and continue to peel spine off the ground vertebra by vertebra. You should feel your lower tummy and glutes working. Inhale at the top before exhaling to peel down slowly.
