☀️🧴SKIN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
As part of Skin Cancer Awareness Month, we were proud to take part in multiple community events across The Shire, all focused on raising awareness about the importance of knowing your own skin and looking out for one another when it comes to skin cancer.
Throughout the month, we were fortunate to be involved in:
• Classic Car Talk at Cronulla RSL
• Relay For Life alongside Brett from Peak Health and the Fight Back Team in Cronulla
• A community education session at Donald Robinson Village
A special thank you to our clinic director, Dr Andrew Trang, for generously giving his time to share valuable insights into the different types of skin cancer, the importance of early detection, and practical ways to help prevent skin cancer through sun-safe habits and regular skin checks.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Brett and the team at Peak Health for their ongoing support and commitment to community health.
Thank you to Donald Robinson Village for the kind invitation and warm welcome into your community, and to the Classic Car group for inviting us along and allowing us to meet so many wonderful car enthusiasts.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and helped spread this important message. Awareness and education play a vital role in protecting our communities.
If you would like us to attend your event and present on skin cancer awareness, please get in touch with us on 02 7503 1839 or email Natalie, our Practice Manager, at [email protected]
