Today is World First Aid Day!

First Aid saves lives and keeps everyone moving.

From learning and supplying the equipment, to ensuring everyone stays safe we all have a part to play in our work, homes and hobbies!

That's why it's important to ensure no matter what your doing you have the rule of 3!

- Have a first aid kit
- Have it stocked!
- Have some training!

These 3 things can save a life, or simply get you out of a jam when the little one gets a splinter, right through to using the scissors in your kit to cut some string.

At Apex Response, we have more than first aid with fully qualified Cert IV and Diploma level medics, these take years of training. But anyone can learn first aid, for a $100 and a day course you can learn more than you think!

Yesterday Apex Response provided Medical Services to the AFL South Coast's grand final event!

The event was action packed, with crowds from all over the South Coast coming together and many players giving it a go!

Supporting Illawarra Urgent Response with advanced care and equipment, we kept ourselves busy with a few minor bumps, bruises and grazes and had a great time!

Last Sunday our Medics got busy, supporting Illawarra Urgent Response with their AFL Grand Final event!

Our Medics came in handy with providing assessements and clinical care to assist players across a multitude of incidents.

Sporting events like these serve as a great reminder to clubs and others to ensure they have the most adequate service available to support the safety and wellbeing of their players.
