Yesterday I had an unexpected visit from the Real Estate I pay rent to. He had seen the post I put on the Taree Community Page requesting the names of trusted Signwriters as my plan was to redo the exterior of the shop.…it has been 14.5 years since I opened.
It was rather threatening what he said to me and it shook me in the way that moments like that do. But I’m reminding myself of this:- Worry doesn’t keep me safe…its awareness that does.
Worry actually drains me…staying grounded restores me. I can stay alert without letting fear take over.
I can hold my power, even when someone tries to shake it.
I also pray.
I'm wondering what you do when someone shakes your world in an uncomfortable way if you feel safe to share that.

Hi everyone,

​I wanted to check in and give you a quick update. While I am feeling a lot better on the inside, my voice is still catching up!

​As many of you know, my sessions…especially Hypnotherapy…rely heavily on my voice and require a deep amount of personal energy. I believe in giving 100% of myself to do full justice for my clients, and right now, I’m just not quite at that full strength yet.

​Because of this, I am taking things day by day.

​If you have an upcoming appointment, I will be in touch with you directly to confirm or reschedule based on how the voice is holding up. Thank you all so much for your understanding, patience, and lovely well wishes…it means the world to me.

The Reality of Being Your Own Boss (And Why the Doors Have Been Closed)

​If you’ve noticed a bit of quiet on the page since last Friday, it’s time for me to fess up! I’ve been completely knocked off my feet by a bug. 🦠🛌

​Being self employed and running a small business is an absolute dream, but it definitely comes with a unique set of rules. There’s no HR department to call, no holiday pay, no sick leave, and certainly no magic Super contributions landing in the background while you rest. When the doors are closed, everything stops.

​But my absolute promise to every single client and customer who walks through the doors at True Nature Therapies is that you will always get me at 100%.

​Because of the deep, healing work we do here, I refuse to show up on half an empty tank. It wouldn’t be fair to you, and it wouldn’t be true to the wellness principles I stand for. Taking my own advice and allowing my body the time to actually rest and repair is the only way forward.

​Thank you all so much for your understanding, your patience, and your endless support. I’m giving myself the grace to fully mend, and I cannot wait to welcome you back into the space very soon when the tank is completely full again.
