💙 Today marks World Ovarian Cancer Day. A day that I've marked on my calender since my diagnosis 6 years ago. 🩵

There is no screening test so it's important to learn the symptoms. Especially with a survival rate of only 49%.

I'm lucky to be here to continue spreading awareness through my advocacy of this relentless disease, and stoked to be back in the ring after a 13 year hiatus. Only this time its boxing 🥊, thanks to Fuamatu2421 Boxing 🙏

It's always great to see some spotlight on boxing—and ovarian cancer awareness. Thanks, NT News, for the article!

As an Ovarian Cancer Survivor and previous kickboxer, I made a promise during my treatment that “When I recover, I’ll have a boxing fight.” And I did just that in NSW a few weeks back. It took a while post treatment, but with the support of Fuamatu2421 Boxing it happened. 😁

This week, I head to South Australia for the Australian Masters Championships, joining four women and five of our male teammates from 2421 Fuamatu Boxing who are competing in the elite Australin Club Championships as a joint event.

Thanks to Coach Donny and his family for building a gym that makes space for women to grow strong in every way. We appreciate you all. 🙏🥊

I'm now addicted to the feeling of training, sparring, and competing, so I will go for as long as my body allows me.

As an Ovarian Cancer Survivor, I'm so happy to see the McGrath Foundation now extending their care to all Cancers. 🙏🙏

When i was diagnosed 6 years ago, unfortunately, I was given no info on my cancer during the most confusing time of my life. I became an advocate to spread awareness and get info in clinics here in the NT and created awareness via my pages here.

Ovarian Cancer is the most underfunded female gynocoleagical, and it makes me happy that the money raised here will be spread across all Cancers.

Meet Stacee (), who last month embarked on her third trekking adventure to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Australia.

Stacee writes, "After enduring 2 years of surgeries, chemotherapy and confusion I took a keen interest in educating others and learning the little information there was on this deadly disease."

Stacee raised over $5,700, contributing to the $50,000 raised by the team to help researchers better test for, treat and one day, cure ovarian cancer.

Thank you so much for sharing my story and thank you for adding Ovarian Cancer awareness to the Mothers Day Classic! I was so bloody excited to hear this, as it's so essential to know the symptoms of this cancer due to no accurate screening test. It's massively underfunded, and until more money has been injected into research, the survival rates will remain under 50%.

Great day today! Met some lovely new people, and we started our trek along the Great Ocean Road. Stunning views and touching conversations about other people stories with ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer Australia cancer oz are doing some amazing things, and I will be forever grateful for this organisation that offers so much support to those affected.

As a collective group, we need to raise another $4500 to reach our target of $50,000! Much needed funds for the most underfunded and deadliest gynaecological cancer.
