Dessert for breakfast?
These berries from .wilderberries are packed with antioxidants including, polyphenols, as well as fibre, and vitamin C, berries are one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can add to your morning.
You can add these berries to:
🫐Smoothies
🍓muffins or loaf recipes
🫐yoghurt bowls
🍓sweet treat recipes
Ingredients
2.5 cups Frozen Berries .wilderberries
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp Flaxseed
Juice of Half Lemon
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
Crumble Mixture
1 cup Oats
1/2 Cup almond meal
2 Tbsp Butter (Softened - not melted)
1 heaped Tbsp nut butter (I used peanut butter)
1/2 tsp nutmeg (ground)
1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
Method:
1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees (celcius)
2. Add all berry ingredients into medium baking dish. Stir together with a spoon and set aside.
3. In separate bowl, add all crumble ingredients and mix together using fingertips. It will form a crumbly mixture, ensure it is evenly combined (as pictured)
4. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes
5. Enjoy with a spoon of yoghurt of choice
