Laser removal of cosmetic tattooed eyebrows is a popular treatment option. It can be a fast and effective method for breaking down certain pigment colours found in PMU tattoos, and when performed by a skilled technician using modern picosecond laser technology, the risk of scarring and hair loss is generally low.

However, cosmetic tattoo pigments are made up of multiple colour components, and not all of these respond equally to laser treatment.

So what’s the issue? One of the most common challenges in laser brow removal is residual yellow pigment. Many clients find that after their darker pigment has faded, a yellow tone can remain behind.
