Channeling my best pose!

I started this jacket in but only finished in June, still counts right? I've adapted it from the but changed the pockets and added a lining. If I made it again, I would definitely extend the collar so I could button it up!

This was a low-cost project intentionally - I was gifted vintage wool heated blankets (without the heating element) and had leftover scrap fabric from kids' pajamas. I had to buy the pattern, bias binding and these fab vintage buttons that reminds me of butterscotch candies.

Saw this in my garden today. It is a caterpillar with babies, but they are babies of a parasitic wasp, which had laid its eggs INSIDE the caterpillar, and they have eaten their way OUTSIDE the caterpillar. Goodbye 🐛

I have left it alone, so that more wasps may possess more caterpillars that are eating my cabbages. More cabbages for me!

In just over a month, I'm travelling to Singapore to see fam, so if you were planning to come for a treatment, bear that in mind! I've popped some extra days in the online booking system to help.

Also, there will be a slight price adjustment from 1st July 2026 ($6 increase for a standard 40min return). There was no increase last year.

Very happy with the finished from . It took about 3 weekends to complete. This is a size 8 with a slight tapering of the legs to create a barrel silhouette. I wore them out and then realised I still had tailor's chalk on the pockets 😂. Will make another with fabric from .community.space

If you ever wanted to know what happens in the clinic space after the last patient leaves, well it's this!

Lots of washing and secret sewing studio. Currently I am trying to make and the video tutorials are a game-changer! My favourite soundtrack to sew with is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. There's something about western music and getting a job done 🤠

I still have appointments this coming Saturday if you need a treatment before Easter. Happy holidays!

Our very first ripe fig, on the very last day of February.

Fig season is late this year, possibly from the very dry summer. Hopefully we'll get enough warm days and rain in March for the figs on the tree to ripen.

There's usually plenty to go around, so do ask for some if you're visiting!
