ROUND YARD SKILLS CLINIC
The round yard is a great place to learn how to communicate with your horse clearly and effectively.
Working from the ground allows you to focus on body position, energy, timing and pressure, and learn how small changes in where you stand can influence your horse’s movement, attention and direction.
These skills can help you:
• Build better communication and understanding
• Improve your timing and feel
• Learn how your body position affects your horse
• Develop confidence and control from the ground
• Establish useful groundwork skills
• Better understand how to influence speed, direction and attention
It’s a relaxed environment where we can slow things down, focus on the basics and give you the tools to communicate more clearly with your horse.
You don't even need to bring your own horse!
Horses are available to use for this clinic, making this a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn and develop their groundwork skills, even if you don’t currently have a horse suitable for the clinic.
Whether you're new to round yard work or looking to refine your existing skills, come along and have a go!
