✨ Saturday Night Shenanigans with Christopher 🤼 ✨

What a change from our usual weekend movie nights! 😱 It was fantastic to see Christopher completely in his element—smiling, laughing, and having an absolute blast from start to finish. The wrestling show was incredibly entertaining, with plenty of laughs and a great atmosphere. And I have to say, the food was pretty amazing too! 👏

We wrapped up our week at Happy Paws, spending time with the beautiful wolfhound mix, Annie, who Christopher clearly fell in love with. 🐾❤️ To top it all off, we finished the day surrounded by some adorable puppies, which was the perfect ending to another great week together. 🐶✨

✨ Sunday Funday with Rhi ✨

Or, as Rhi likes to call it, our “Girls Day Out” 💖

On Sunday, we headed off for a fun-filled day together! We started with a game of bowling 🎳, followed by lunch and a little shopping trip 🛍️. We then spent some time sightseeing, checking out Table Top and some of Toowoomba’s biggest and most beautiful homes 🏡.

Of course, no girls’ day out would be complete without singing, dancing, and belting out all of our favourite songs from Rhi’s playlist along the way 🎶💃.

A day full of laughter, fun, and making wonderful memories together! ✨🐝💛

🐝 This Week with Christopher 🐝

What a fun-filled week we’ve had!

🍿 Sunday Fun Day took us to V-Max to watch Star Wars. A great way to relax, enjoy some popcorn, and immerse ourselves in a galaxy far, far away! 👽✨

🐴 Monday was spent exploring the amazing Cobb & Co Museum. We learned so many interesting things, and Christopher definitely kept us entertained, showing off his cheeky side whenever there was a photo opportunity! 🤪📸 We finished the day with a stroll through Kmart, where Christopher had us laughing as he made all the toys dance their way through the aisles. 💃🏼🕺😂

🐾 Wednesday was our regular visit to Happy Paws. While we weren’t able to take any photos this week as many of our furry friends are still awaiting media consent, it was another rewarding session spent helping care for and enrich the lives of the animals. ❤️

Another wonderful week filled with learning, laughter, community participation, and plenty of smiles. We can’t wait to see what next week brings! 🐝✨

✨ RHI IS BACK! ✨

This busy little bee is back, and we’re taking on gymnastics once again! 🤸‍♀️

After having some time away from gymnastics, Rhi’s confidence had taken a bit of a hit. She came back doubting herself and worrying that she wasn’t good enough. But those thoughts didn’t last long!

Throughout the entire session, Rhi showed incredible determination. Even when things felt challenging, she kept trying, pushed through her worries, and gave every activity her absolute best effort. The exercises she said she couldn’t do at the beginning of the lesson were the very same ones she conquered by the end!

Watching her little happy dance at the end of the session was the perfect reminder that growth happens when we keep showing up, even when things feel hard.

I’m so incredibly proud of you, Rhi. Your resilience, courage, and willingness to keep trying are inspiring. It is so good to have you back doing what you love 🐝 🥰

What a wet but incredibly exciting Wednesday for Christopher! 🐾

Today wasn’t our usual Happy Paws Happy Hearts session. We had the WIN News crew onsite, the Happy Paws marketing team, and some very special visitors from Bupa Glenvale Residential Home.

The day focused on showcasing what the Happy Paws program is truly about — the dedication behind the scenes, the journey of helping animals become adoption-ready, and the meaningful role participants play in building confidence, social skills, and positive animal behaviours.

Here, Christopher is pictured with Emily, the Lead Trainer for Happy Paws Happy Hearts, as she explains the “traffic light” system used within the program. The green, yellow, and red indicators help participants and visitors understand animal body language, when it is safe to approach a pet, and the important signs to look out for to ensure positive and respectful interactions.

Being part of such an inspiring program alongside Christopher is an absolute privilege. Watching the growth, confidence, and connection built between participants and the animals is something truly special.

Julie and I have been so busy over the past 8 weeks! While her wonderful horse instructor was away, it gave us some much-needed time to focus on other important things — house hunting, grocery shopping, appointments, running around after her kids, sneaky game of darts in between the chaos and of course spending time with all her animals! 🐾

But the wait is finally over — horse riding is back this week (weather permitting)! It’s definitely been missed, and I can’t wait to see Julie back doing what she loves most and sharing those special moments again. 🐴💛
