Sometimes the decision to remove a tattoo carries with it some unexpected emotions. Whether it is an ex's name, something symbolic from the past that no longer resonates with you or perhaps even a much loved tattoo that just hasn't aged well on the skin.

SPF is not seasonal. It is a foundational component of long-term skin health ☀️

In Australia, cumulative UV exposure is a major contributor to both skin cancer development and extrinsic skin ageing.

Research has shown that consistent daily sunscreen use can significantly reduce melanoma risk, while regular UV protection helps minimise collagen degradation, pigmentation irregularities, vascular changes and the textural decline associated with photoageing.

What is often overlooked however, is the importance of how the sunscreen formula feels when it comes to compliance. Because the most scientifically advanced SPF in the world means very little if you don't love how it feels on your skin as this can discourage daily use.

Some clients prefer a lightweight matte finish. Others need a more nourishing formulation. Some want sheer protection under makeup, while others prefer a tinted option for versatility. Your skin type and any existing skin conditions will also influence your choice. THAT'S A WRAP... on 2025! 💖💖💖

This year has been massive! I introduced our Ultrafusion device, new peel protocols, new products across Lira Clincal, Skin Moderne & Saint Minerals. I launched Exosomes, our home-use LED hair regeneration device and just this month the new Enlighten III laser. I have treated 100s of tattoos, many many skin conditions and plenty of hair! Each and everyday has been special, helping all of my wonderful clients feel more confident in their own skin.

This year has been particularly hard for me personally, after the devastating loss of my Dad. Having my clinic and my clients to come to work and care for, is what kept me going. I appreciate each and every one of you. Your patience, understanding, love and support has meant the world to me.

For now, I'm taking some much needed time away with my family. I will still be responding to messages and emails but this will be periodically.

Next year, more exciting things are already in the pipeline. I am always searching for and striving for the very best for my clients. I can't wait to see you all in 2026!
