Sustainable practice takes more than endurance.

For many allied health and community services professionals, the work is meaningful, but it can also be complex, emotionally demanding, and full of competing priorities.

That is why this conversation matters.

At Well Connected | Resilience in Allied Health, we’ll look at resilience from two connected angles.

One is practical: how clearer systems, better workflows, and reduced cognitive load can support clinicians to work with more focus and reduce overwhelm.

The other is human: how story, safety, and support shape the way people navigate complex seasons of life.

This is an evening for local professionals to step out of the busyness, connect with others in the sector, and take part in a conversation grounded in real world practice.

Last Thursday and Friday, the Well Life team officially moved into our new Hill Street space.

Over two very busy days, therapy rooms came together, boxes slowly disappeared, and coffee became critical infrastructure.

At the same time, new staff inductions were somehow happening in the middle of the chaos.

There were moving trucks.

There were unpacking marathons.

There were moments where nobody could find the scissors.

Somewhere along the way, Bear appointed himself chief supervisor.

His role mostly involved:

• Supervising from elevated surfaces

• Providing emotional support

• Watching other people work

• Avoiding all heavy lifting

Big thank you to every staff member who helped turn an empty building into a space that already feels like Well Life.

A special thank you as well to our neighbours at DCO Pharmacy, who dropped by on Monday with a beautiful welcome package. It was such a lovely way to be welcomed into the Hill Street community.

Hill Street is officially open.

The boxes will disappear eventually.

The coffee consumption may not. 🧸☕️
