It was an absolute honour to paint this special piece for my best friend’s mother’s 90th birthday. This is the family home where she grew up in Bogantungan, Qld, the youngest of eleven children, surrounded by love, laughter, and a whole lot of siblings.

To be trusted with capturing such treasured memories is something I hold close. Happy 90th to a truly remarkable woman.

Thank You for Blooming With Us

A huge, joy‑filled thank you to everyone who came along to the Bloom Within Workshops. What a gorgeous few sessions to celebrate the beautiful Carnival of Flowers, it was full of colour, calm, laughter, and so many beautifully unique floral creations.

Watching each person bring their own style, story and softness to the canvas was truly special. The room felt alive with creativity, connection and those little moments of quiet focus that make these workshops so grounding.

Your paintings were absolutely stunning, and the reel captures just a glimpse of the magic you all created.

Thank you for showing up, for trusting the process, and for blooming in your own way.

Can’t wait to paint with you again soon.

Meet Our Cheeky Little Blue Wren!

A joyful new friend in the Among the Wildflowers workshop.

This bright, curious little bird has fluttered in to join our woodland fox and together they bring a whole lot of colour, charm and playful energy to this nature‑inspired painting experience.

In Among the Wildflowers, every participant gets to choose which guided artwork they’d love to paint, whether it’s this sweet blue wren perched among blooms, our gentle fox wandering through the flowers, or another nature‑soaked scene from your imagination.

You’ll learn and play with techniques like soft colour blending, sgraffito texture work, and expressive mark‑making as you build your own modern, whimsical woodland moment. It’s calm, creative, and wonderfully uplifting.

Among the WildFlowers — The Toowoomba Gallery
Saturday 24 October | 9am to 11am

🌸 Just two Bloom Within workshops left!

Our first two workshops have now been and gone, and we’ve loved seeing these experiences come to life. 💕

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, there are now just two opportunities left to step into Bloom Within this September:

🌸 Saturday 19 September
🌸 Friday 25 September

Come on your own. Bring a friend. Make an afternoon of it.

You’ll spend a few hours slowing down, experimenting with colour, acrylic paint, stencils, spray paint and different creative techniques - with no pressure to be “good at art” and no expectation to create anything perfect.

Just a chance to switch off, get creative and make something that’s completely your own.

And yes… you’ll leave with your painting to take home. 💕

If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this might be it.

Thank you to everyone who joined our very first ImmersionArts Bloom Within workshop Just in time for our Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. What a beautiful afternoon of fun and creativity. Your floral paintings were absolutely gorgeous ❤️ and I hope you all had fun playing with the paint, stencils and spray paint in creating your artworks.

If you missed out, we still have a couple of spots available for tonight’s workshop, where we’ll be painting the same vibrant floral scene.

Would love to welcome you in for another relaxed, mindful evening of art.
