We are incredibly grateful to have our Parkinson’s home-visit movement program featured by Coast Community News, with the story also appearing in print on June 4.

What started years ago with one person walking into the gym wanting to improve mobility has gradually evolved into a program built through lived experience, community connection and working closely with people living with Parkinson’s.

Over time, we saw that for many people, movement support wasn’t just about exercise — it was also about confidence, staying engaged, maintaining independence and continuing to feel connected.

The introduction of home visits has been designed to help support those who may no longer feel comfortable attending gym-based sessions, allowing movement sessions to be adapted safely within the familiarity of home.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far, especially the clients and families who continue to place their trust in us each week.

Awareness around Parkinson’s, movement and community support is so important, and we’re grateful to play a small role in that space.

And like any good relationship — it shouldn’t feel restrictive.

Fitness isn’t just about forcing yourself into the gym
or chasing one end goal.

It’s about building a way of living that you actually enjoy.

Some days that might be a session at the gym…
