Last month, our Senior Osteopath and Clinical Director, Bec Burns, had the incredible opportunity to spend the day behind the scenes with Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Nick Maister, observing a total knee replacement procedure. 🦴✨

Experiences like this are invaluable. They provide a deeper understanding of the surgical journey, the precision involved in joint replacement, and the collaborative approach required to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

For our team, learning doesn't stop when we leave university. By continuing to build strong relationships with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, we're able to better support patients before surgery, throughout their rehabilitation, and during their return to the activities they love.

A huge thank you to Dr Nick Maister and the theatre team for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise. Opportunities like these strengthen the connection between surgery and conservative care, ultimately benefiting the people we care for every day.

Welcome Monique, our new Remedial Massage Therapist! Monique has a warm, intuitive approach to bodywork and a passion for creating treatments that respond to what each person needs on the day. 🫶

With a Diploma of Remedial Massage and years of hands-on experience across wellness and multidisciplinary settings, Monique blends remedial and relaxation massage with techniques including pregnancy massage and Zen Shiatsu.

Her treatments may focus on relieving muscular tension, supporting mobility, encouraging relaxation and creating space for the body to slow down and reset.

Monique is known for her calm nature and active listening. She takes the time to understand how you’re feeling and what you’d like from your treatment, creating a comfortable and individualised experience.

As she returns to her roots in Queensland, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible impact she has made here at Sequence Osteopathy.

Emily has been more than just a therapist; she has been a ray of sunshine to all who have had the pleasure of being treated by her. Her gentle touch and warm demeanor have provided comfort and healing to so many. 💖

As she prepares to leave us, we are grateful for the many lives she has touched and the loyal patient following she has built during her time with us.
