As we continue reflecting on last week's monthly BBQ and awards presentation, we'd like to shine a spotlight on one of our special award recipients.

This award was presented to a staff member who continually goes the extra mile to ensure a participant is living their best life. Through their dedication, compassion, and willingness, they have made a meaningful and lasting impact. Last week, the Access Support Services team came together for our monthly BBQ, giving us the opportunity to connect, celebrate, and recognise some very special milestones within our organisation.

As part of the event, we proudly presented Long Service Awards to staff members who have dedicated years of commitment, care, and hard work to Access Support Services.

We believe that dedication deserves recognition, and it was an honour to celebrate these incredible team members and thank them for their loyalty, professionalism, and the difference they make every single day.

It's not only the prices that have dramatically changed!

Do you remember when the fuel price first went over the $1.00 per litre mark and we couldn't believe it?!?!?!?

In the 1990s, diesel sat at 54.9c per litre, while unleaded was 65.9c.

From maroon shirts to big smiles, we’re all geared up for a great night cheering on Queensland!

At Access Support Services, we love helping our participants learn new things — even if it’s just making sure the car tyres survive the week!

Safe to say we might have a future mechanic on our hands… or at least someone who now knows where the air goes!

The best part of our days is seeing our participants try new things, build confidence, and have fun while doing it.
