What are you reading? So I’m time poor and I will listen to a lot of books nowadays actually I love driving around listening to a good book- I do it daily BUT I ordered this book from and I am second chapter in and I’ve made 🫖 and opened chocolate 🍫- I’m not moving for the rest of the day! I love real stories and this is a great collection❤️ 📚

What a word - Tacenda - is this a fine line of what you share in public or not?

But first coffee! Motivation - where do you find it? I need to get stuck into editing- strap in and get it done - as I have mentioned it is not my favourite job even though I know big rewards come from it. So finding motivation is digging deep and remembering why I am doing it!

I do not think that I could have survived eight months of writing courses if I was not a Philomath. The hardest part was having so many different people edit my work and the magnitude of feedback left me overwhelmed to work out what was useful and what wasn't. Learning occurred when I could sift through trusting my own gut about my story and follow that.

Happy mums day - this chapter of my life has been a story about adventure, love, heartbreak, fear, and drama. It isn’t an easy chapter but one I’m the most grateful for. I think about my mum and wonder if she would describe parenting in the same way? Are we more alike than different?

Every day I believe this - every single day. I know that watching my daughter I feel that her empathy and passion can change the world. I hope with my stories I can make an impact. I always just aim for a little bit better of myself each day.

Clearing my head and getting a different perspective! To not have distraction moments I will lie on my bed other way round and stare at the painting above my bed head or sit on a chair and face my plain wardrobe doors. Minimal view helps me quickly run through the thoughts in my head. I can work through something I am trying to write or alternatively I will write in these spaces if I’m struggling to get my word count out for the day!

Totally needs no explanation at all.
I believe when you open yourself up to an editing circle or beta readers you better get flawsome as I believe this is the only mindset you need to get through.

Getting back into the flow of writing. I love giving myself time to have a break but know that I have to get back into the routine and discipline of sitting down at my desk each day to edit or write. I know there is no one shoe fits all when it comes to individual flow but for me it is a schedule so I try and keep to that.

Ok holidays, it was fun but I have a lot of editing to do.
