Appointment wait times for both new and returning patients are currently around 4–5 weeks.

I maintain an active cancellation list, so if you require an appointment sooner, please let me know either in the notes section when booking online or via any of the contact methods listed on my website.

Where appropriate, it is often recommended to book a follow-up appointment for the week after your initial consultation. This allows us to maintain momentum and be more effective in addressing your concerns.

A friendly reminder that if you no longer require an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible so that I can offer that time to another patient who may be waiting.

While I understand that illness, emergencies, and unexpected events can arise, I do have a cancellation policy in place and fees may apply for late cancellations or missed appointments.

Thank you to all my wonderful patients for your understanding while I’ve been in my temporary location at the Cowboys Centre.

I’m so pleased to announce that from the 9th of June, Melissa Brookfield Osteopathy will be moving into its permanent home at the Healthia Hub in Aitkenvale.

I’ll still be working alongside the team at NQPC, now within a purpose-built multidisciplinary facility, and I’m so excited for you all to see this beautiful new space.

For those unfamiliar with the location, we’re at 1/251 Ross River Road, Aitkenvale - next to Chemist Warehouse.

Your appointment confirmation will include all the details, and I’ll also be in touch with anyone already booked in to make sure you know exactly where to go.

Please note: all Tuesday and Wednesday appointments prior to the 9th of June will still be held at the Cowboys Centre.

Is it uncomfortable? Likely.

I’m sitting here realising that two months since starting this little business has absolutely flown by.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but honestly, it wouldn’t be what it is without my incredible patients. Looking back at the numbers, I’ve welcomed over 80 new patients in just two months… which feels a little surreal.

I’m also so grateful for everyone who’s followed along and supported me here — it really does mean a lot.

To celebrate (and to mark the opening of my new location), I think a little giveaway might be on the cards… so watch this space 🤍
