I read this before, however wanted to share due to the amazing images presented here.

“All the eggs a woman will ever carry form in her ovaries while she is a four-month-old fetus in the womb of her mother.

This means our cellular life as an egg begins
in the womb of our grandmother.

Each of us spent five months in our
grandmother’s womb, and she in turn
formed in the womb of her grandmother.

We vibrate to the rhythm of our mother’s blood before she herself is born, and this pulse is the thread of blood that runs all the way back through the grandmothers to the first mother.”

Here’s hoping with a new OB heading Gladstone, some more will get to our other hospitals to help our birthing families

As a nurse and a former hospital administrator, I know how dangerous it is for mums who don’t have access to urgent medical care during pregnancy.

37 vital services have been closed by Labor.

This is a sad and sorry chapter in the Queensland Health Crisis.

The Palaszczuk Government have given up on listening.

Queenslanders deserve better.
