Hi

the council and city traders are having late night shopping over the next two Friday nights.

the gallery will be open also with a bit of painting in the street and some wine and stuff so pop in if you are in or about town.

hi everyone, a day or two before i handed back the old shop i was given the keys to a new space.

I have been working pretty much around the clock but the end result is that the gallery will reopen in its new location this Sunday.

the new space is much smaller but will still offer a great range of local art.

it is located at 6 STOKES ST, the city. it is directly across from Millie j and three doors up from coffee dominion.

doors reopen Sunday 2nd of December, at 9am but i only have the space for December and January so come in soon and have a look.

So tomorrow is the final day of trade for the gallery in its current location..... As yet the future is a bit undecided but we will be back.
There are still plenty of great bargains to be had so pop in and say hello.
If anyone would like to join me for a couple of drinks in the afternoon you are most welcome

Organigallery was opened in December 2010 with support from the Townsville City Council in an effort to bring some life back into the city center.
We were given the space on a month to month lease with an expected occupancy of approx 6 months, recently this building was sold for redevelopment which is commencing immediately and hence we have been asked to vacate the premises to allow this process to begin.
Our final day of trade will be this Sunday, but I will remain open late Friday night(8pm) and Saturday afternoon (6pm) and Sunday (6pm) to allow you to take advantage of the great bargains in store at the moment.
At this stage I will be taking a break with a view to re-open the gallery in another city location towards the middle of next year, the phone number, email address and face book page will remain in place and through these mediums I will update and inform of any developments.
In the two years we have traded in this location almost $120,000.00 has been distributed to approx 80 local artists and craftsmen many of whom are at the early stages of their careers. Such support for local artists is rare but immensely valuable and for this I offer my sincere thanks.
I would also like to thanks the council for facilitating such an amazing opportunity for myself and the other artists involved.
