Perimenopause/Menopause

Mood swings, hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia, bloating, anxiety, fatigue, weight gain and cramps are just some of the symptoms women can experience.

The transition to the other side of menopause can be a bumpy one for many women. But it doesn’t have to be.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been looking after women for thousands of years. This is a great natural pathway to manage symptoms of menopausal syndrome.

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms please reach out. You deserve to be cared for in the way you have been for others up until now.

Period Pain, otherwise known as dysmenorrhea is experienced by 45%-95% of menstruating women. Anti inflammatory drugs can ease the pain but won’t address the underlying cause.

Period pain is also associated with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, dizziness, muscle cramps, back pain, and poor sleep.

Considering this happens for most women every 28 days until menopause this is a big deal.
Some women experience pain and pre menstrual symptoms from ovulation onwards 😬

There are a range of things that may be contributing to these symptoms and a Women’s Health Check is a good place to start.

Hormones have a huge impact on our lives as women. It’s worth getting a strategy to keep everything in check and live a better life ☯️

Traditional Chinese Medicine sees women’s health as important and menstruation as highly diagnostic to the individual.

Restoring balance in our lives in important, especially during the winter months.

This is part of how we keep our immune system strong. Keeping warm, eating nourishing warm foods, breath work, managing stress and connecting with loved ones. This brings life back into balance.

Acupuncture is a great part of the self care routine and to keep us in a state of wellness.
