Ever wondered why cartilage piercings can be so stubborn to heal?
Unlike some other areas of the body, cartilage has very limited blood flow. That means when it gets bumped, slept on, snagged, or irritated, it takes much longer to recover than, for example, a lobe piercing.
This doesn’t mean cartilage piercings are impossible to heal—it just means they need a little more patience, care, love, and TIME.
