Eight new injuries through the door this week.

Soccer ankles. Footy ACLs. Netball backs, a couple of Achilles. Runners with sore knee caps. Nearly every one came from playing sport, and nearly every one has a clear way back to it.

The bit people get wrong is thinking the finish line is "no pain." It's not. The finish line is back out there playing. Pain settling down is where the real work starts, not where it wraps up.

So we actually test your strength and capacity. That way you're heading back when your body's ready, not just when it feels alright. Those aren't the same thing.

We're looking for one allied health practitioner to join us at 323 Princes Highway. The space is well-equipped and the clinic runs at a standard we're proud of. It's a real working environment with a team that gives a damn about what they do.

Who we're looking for: an exercise physiologist, osteopath, myotherapist, massage therapist, or allied health practitioner who is patient-centred, works toward goals (not just symptom relief).

What's included: your own treatment space with a table, shared waiting room, kitchen, and Wi-Fi.

Rates start from $65/day depending on how many days you need.

Exercise is one of the most effective tools we have for building stronger bones.

Following guidance from Healthy Bones Australia, the focus is weight-bearing impact exercise and progressive resistance training - stimulating bone growth, maintaining muscle mass, and improving balance.

A recent session looked like this:

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ Strength work - leg press, goblet squats, calf raises, step ups, sled push
๐Ÿฆ˜ Impact loading - pogos, box drops, hopping
โš–๏ธ Functional balance work

The goal isn't just "exercise more" - it's the right type of exercise, loaded appropriately, and progressed over time.

When it's individualised, training can be safe, effective, and genuinely empowering. Stronger muscles + stronger bones = better long-term health.

Every station, every piece of equipment, every corner of the floor has a reason behind it. Hands-on rooms set up for proper clinical work. A gym built for loading and progression. Testing that tells you where you actually are, not just how you feel.
