Been away on travel. I’m back!

As a solo NDIS provider, when I travel… I really travel 😅
But when I’m supporting, you get 100% of me

Refreshed. Recharged. Ready to keep building independence.
If you or anyone you know needs support I have some availability currently. Happy to do a free meet and greet.

A lot of people have spent years being misunderstood.

Labelled as “too hard”, “too emotional”, or “non-compliant”.

But behaviours often come from unmet needs, not bad intentions.

When people feel safe, supported, and respected — things begin to change.

That’s where real healing starts.

28/01/2026

Healing isn’t linear.
Some days look calm.
Some days are messy.

Trauma doesn’t disappear just because someone wants it to.
It takes time, patience, and people who don’t give up when things get hard.

We believe progress can be quiet.
Showing up counts.
Trying again counts.

And every small step matters.

25/01/2026

Not everyone who reacts strongly is trying to cause trouble.
Many are reacting from past hurt.

Trauma changes how people respond to stress, change, and even kindness.
So when someone shuts down or lashes out, we don’t ask, “What’s wrong with you?”

We ask, “What might you be carrying?”

Support should feel steady, not stressful.
That’s the kind of care we aim to give.

23/01/2026

Some people don’t need to be pushed harder.
They need to feel safer.

Trauma doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like pulling away, getting angry quickly, cancelling plans, or not trusting help.

That’s not someone being difficult.
That’s someone who learned to survive.

At Compassion Disability Support Services, we slow things down.
We listen.
We don’t rush trust.
We meet people where they’re at — on the good days and the hard ones.

Because healing starts when someone finally feels seen, not judged.

13/01/2026

Some behaviours come from past experiences, not attitude. Support starts with compassion.

Support reminder:
Calm comes before skills. When someone feels safe, learning and change happen naturally.

11/01/2026

Struggling doesn’t mean someone isn’t trying. Support and understanding go a long way.
