📢 IMPORTANT NDIS UPDATE – CHANGES FROM FEBRUARY 2027

From February 2027, important changes are coming to how NDIS plans are renewed and how unused funding is treated.

Under the announced changes, when an NDIS plan reaches reassessment, it will either be reassessed by an NDIA planner or renewed with the same supports. Any unspent funding remaining at the end of the previous plan will not carry over into the new plan. (NDIS)

✨What does this mean for participants and families?

It will be increasingly important to:

* Understand your available NDIS budget.
* Regularly monitor your spending and supports.
* Make sure your funding is being appropriately used to meet your goals and support needs.
* Plan ahead before your current plan ends.

Important: Funding that is unused during a funding period can still roll over into the next funding period within the same NDIS plan. It is the unused funding remaining when the plan ends that does not roll over into the new plan. (NDIS)

At Central Coast Compassionate Care, we understand that NDIS changes can sometimes be confusing. Our team is here to support participants and families across the Central Coast with reliable, compassionate and person-centred disability support.

💙 Quality care you can trust.

🏆💙 WE’RE FINALISTS IN TWO CATEGORIES! 💙🌟

We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to announce that Central coast compassionate care has been named a FINALIST in TWO categories in the Business NSW Awards for the Central Coast! 🎉✨

🏆 Outstanding Medium Business
🌟 Outstanding Employee – Tania Baldwin

To be recognised as a finalist in the Medium Business category is an incredible achievement for our entire Central Coast Compassionate Care team.

We are also beyond proud of our beautiful Tania Baldwin, who has been recognised as a finalist for Outstanding Employee. 💙

Tania is a dedicated and compassionate support worker who genuinely cares about the people she supports. She represents what Central Coast Compassionate Care is all about — compassion, kindness, respect, dedication and putting people first.

This is who we are. 💙

As a Central Coast NDIS provider, we are passionate about providing personalised NDIS support, disability support, personal care, community access, social support and in-home care across the Central Coast.

We want to thank our incredible staff for the care and dedication they bring every single day, and our wonderful participants, clients and families for trusting us to support you and your loved ones.

Most importantly, we love supporting our individuals and families. Seeing people achieve their goals, maintain their independence and live the life they choose is why we do what we do. 🥰

✨ We are now very excited to attend the Gala Awards on 25 September, where the winners will be announced.

This afternoon, Central coast compassionate care loved visiting Diverse Pathways and seeing their wonderful furry friends! 🐾

Diverse Pathways is home to a team of allied health therapists providing a range of therapies for children and young adults. Their animal space is open for all participants to enjoy, creating opportunities for meaningful engagement, connection, and supporting health and wellbeing in a welcoming, person-centred environment.

We love seeing services helping participants build confidence, develop skills, and work towards their individual goals through compassionate, holistic support. 💙
