"So... what actually is kinesiology?"
I get asked this almost every week, so let's clear it up.
Kinesiology is a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses muscle monitoring to get a read on what's going on in your body β physically, emotionally, and energetically. Think of it like a conversation with your nervous system, where your body's responses point to where stress, old patterns, or imbalance might be sitting.
It's not about diagnosing. It's about listening.
In a session, I might use muscle testing to figure out whether a headache is tension-driven or stress-driven, or whether that ongoing tightness in your hips is physical overuse or something your body's been holding onto for longer than that.
It works alongside remedial massage really naturally β the massage addresses what's physically there, and the kinesiology helps us understand why it might be there in the first place.
No two sessions look the same, because no two bodies are holding the same story.
