🌟 Support Worker Wanted 🌟

We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated female support worker to support an 8-year-old participant in Pottsville area.

Support Worker Requirements:
✨ Female, ideally mid-20s to 30s
✨ Active, patient, and has a gentle, supportive approach
✨ Experience working with children (ages 8–10), particularly with ASD
✨ Skilled in de-escalating anxiety-related behaviours and supporting repetitive/restrictive behaviours
✨ Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature
✨ Police Check required (or willing to obtain one)
✨Working with children check and NDIS workers screening

Role Responsibilities:
✔️ Building independence and daily living skills
✔️ Supporting morning routines (preparing for and walking to school)
✔️ Assisting with attending appointments
✔️ Supporting personal hygiene tasks

Availability Required:
🕒 Mondays & Fridays: 6:45am – 8:45am

🌟 Support Worker Wanted – Ballina NSW 🌟
We are looking for a support worker to prepare and cook a week of nutritious meals, once a week, for a lovely participant with physical and mental disabilities in Ballina. Start asap Wednesdays 10am to 4pm
About the Role:
• Work with the participant to plan her week of meals
• Take the participant grocery shopping and complete the shopping with her
• Prepare and cook the meals
• Freeze meals ready to use in the week
Support may include:
• Encouraging healthy meals
• Setting gentle boundaries
Requirements:
• Current Police Check
• Reliable car and current drivers licence
• Experience supporting adult NDIS participants

This role involves supporting a 30-year-old female participant with mental health and addiction, helping her stay connected with her medical appointments and healthcare needs.

We’re seeking someone who is:
✅ In a similar age group or older than the participant
✅ Strong, confident, positive, reliable, and energetic
✅ Experienced in supporting people with mental health and addiction (lived experience welcomed!)
✅ A great communicator who can provide consistent, empowering support
✅ Able to drive and hold a current driver’s licence
✅ Fully compliant with all relevant checks, NDIS Worker Screening, insurances, First Aid, etc
✅ Must have an ABN and relevant insurances

The Self Esteem to Empower Women course is al one-day program designed to help you understand and improve your self-esteem.
