Did you know? You can hire a mobility scooter from Care2Move Mobility.

Sometimes you only need a scooter for a little while, and buying one doesn't make sense. Our Merits electric scooter is available for short term hire, which can be a big help when:

* Family are visiting from out of town and need help getting around
* You're recovering from surgery or an injury and need extra support for a few days
* You have a special outing, holiday or event with a lot of ground to cover
* You'd like to try a scooter before deciding whether to buy one

Hiring first is a great way to see how a scooter fits into your daily life, from getting in and out of the house to heading down to the shops.

Is a three wheel walker right for you? 🤔

If you find a standard walker a bit bulky around the house, a tri walker could be worth considering. With three wheels instead of four, they're narrower and easier to turn, which makes them well suited to hallways, kitchens and smaller rooms.

A few things to keep in mind when choosing one:

* Handle height matters. As a general guide, with your arms relaxed by your sides, the handles should sit around wrist height. The Redgum Tri Walker has adjustable handles so you can get the fit right.

* Check the brakes. Loop brakes are easy to squeeze, and a park brake keeps the walker steady when you stop.

* Think about what you carry. A bag, basket or tray lets you move items around the house while keeping both hands on the walker.

* Tri walkers don't have a seat, so if you need to rest often while out and about, a four wheel walker with a seat may suit you better.
