Women, what armour do you wear to take on daily moments? Is it a conscious process to take it off once the challenge subsides…or are you living in a constant state of readiness? Moreso than ever, it is vital to train the tool of switching into the state of our nervous system where healing and restoration occurs. And unfortunately the majority of the influences in daily life is forcing our nervous systems to do the opposite - to stay in a place that will slowly and subtly deplete us. If you’re ready to immerse yourself in a 4-day training of somatic attunement and upgrade your capacity to tend to your own health then join us this August.
More than just a retreat, this is the work you do for yourself that may last years when the knowledge and support is behind you to do so.

We will be meeting monthly for 3 months following the retreat to ensure our learnings are implanted in our lifestyles. To support, hold accountable and care for each other through the strength of a community of women.

Another peek into the amazing women behind Wintering the Wild Body Retreat.
Meet , a holistic vocal coach grounded in her body and her practice. She will be immersing us in baths of our own resonant voices and offering us the sonic medicine of her own exquisite vocal instrument.

Spirals of Soma immersions are facilitated by real world women, invested in living within their bodies and in service to teaching others how to inhabit theirs more fully. Every session is rich with introspective and interoceptive awareness, training us to more deeply listen to ourselves and be guided by our own inner drum.

Last year we were spoiled with her lavish, thoughtful, clean, healing cuisine. Her menu is designed to soothe stress, harmonise our hormones, repair our guts and restore depletion.

What changed for me when I learned how my own hands could heal my body
- I dissolved hardened fascial adhesions in my belly I’d carried for years which were preventing blood flow
- I healed an inguinal hernia I’d had since I could remember which was only getting worse
- I got my period back after 12 years of amenorrhea
- I cleared scar tissue from broken ribs, 2 knee reconstructions, foot surgery, spine injuries amid many other dance injuries
- I have the capacity to soothe digestive issues, headaches, emotional disregulation, lymph issues and muscle imbalances
- I know my body better than anyone on the planet

It isn’t as complicated as some may want you to think and it starts with laying your hands on your body.
I have designed my retreats to share my learnings of my last decade of life so we can all spend more time in happily thriving bodies.

Stronger roots ~
Toning the arch and training articulation to improve balance, agility, digestion, weight stability and overall health

1. Plant the balls of the feet, lift all toes and place them down as relaxed and spread out as possible
2. Keeping the inner and outer balls on the ground, alternate tagging the big toe and little toe
3. Lift just the big toe then lift the others
4. Mexican wave the toes
5. Doming - toes long and relaxed, pop the 2nd arch of the foot that runs over the knuckles
