“Let your hands make what they want” has been the invitation at the last couple of Clay Conversations and here are some samples of representations of what people have felt or been thinking about. Loads of fun and great chats while we make. The next free community session is at the Ulverstone Neighbourhood House 10am Thursday July 23. It’ll be school holidays so all ages welcome and we’ll make magical creatures and design our own planets. Numbers are limited so register with the House on 6425 4186. Hope to see you there! 😀

Thankyou to all the beautiful people who came to our event on Saturday- so much fun, creativity, calm, spaciousness, togetherness.

Saturday was full of all sorts of AMAZING with Mindful Mud , and fabulous women! Thank you for joining us, we loved your company 🧡

One of the things I noticed at our recent YIN & POTTERY event was how quickly a room full of people became a community.

There was laughter, quiet conversations, people encouraging one another, moments of stillness, and moments of creativity. People arriving as strangers and leaving knowing each other just a little better.

When I opened The HUB, this is exactly what I hoped for.

Not simply a place where people came to attend a class, a place where people could connect, where they could slow down, where they could come exactly as they are and perhaps leave feeling a little lighter, a little more connected and reminded that they don't have to do life alone.

For me, that's what community is all about.

Our next YIN + POTTERY event will be Sunday 20 September. If you've attended one of our events before, Miranda will be emailing you very soon as you will have first choice at a ticket!

Lately I keep hearing the message that as adults we don’t tend to play. Letting go of outcomes and perfection, getting messy and letting your hands form what they want is a Clay Conversation. These are some of the islands of Clay - a happy place - created in May. Representations not perfection. And a laugh together. June is about connecting with others and having easier conversations. Trying to decide which clay to use for tomorrow’s clay conversation at 10am, we will make clay islands filled with things we love to do! No experience necessary, no art skills needed, it’s free but please register with the Ulverstone neighbourhood house on 6425 4186 as numbers are limited. And this shed could do with a tidy!
