Trying to decide which clay to use for tomorrow’s clay conversation at 10am, we will make clay islands filled with things we love to do! No experience necessary, no art skills needed, it’s free but please register with the Ulverstone neighbourhood house on 6425 4186 as numbers are limited. And this shed could do with a tidy!

A clay conversation allows you to express how you feel, to process without words, to explore a topic, to feel more regulated or to just have fun with mud!

This is coming up on Saturday and only a couple of tickets left! - My next clay conversation will be about self care and what makes us happy- and along with yoga, mindfulness and good food, you’d better get in quick for this day out- I’d love to have you along. https://events.humanitix.com/getting-ready-for-wintering

Gotta admit, it's pretty cool to have a cuppa out of a mug that I've made (and what a day, what a view!). I'm very lucky. If you'd like to make a mug with me (and a little plate for a cake!), getting in the mood with some Yin Yoga beforehand, come along on Saturday June 27, not many tickets left. https://events.humanitix.com/yoga-and-pottery-june-2026

A few of the rustic woven bowls fresh from the kiln from our last Yoga and Pottery event - I do love how each person's hands will create a unique piece.

Some of the splat faces and dolly peg people creations we made yesterday in our Clay Conversation at the Ulverstone neighbourhood house- and the conversation was wide ranging with a fabulous little group. The next one is May 28 and we’ll make a clay island filled with things we love! Excited already!

Yep only a couple of days to go and I’m excited!

Next week is the first of my 2026 Clay Conversations in collaboration with the Ulverstone Neighbourhood House. It's a chance to play with the clay and express what's on your mind, what makes you happy, what you care about, in clay! No experience necessary, I'll take you through what to do step by step, it's relaxed, fun and you can take what you create home on the day or smoosh it back up again! Small group only so you must register if you want to come along. Central Coast Council community members most welcome. IT'S FREE!

Happy International Women’s Day! What a breakfast and event Ignite Women Tasmania put on this morning - the hard working committee pulled off another sell out and fabulous event again (and the community made bowls looked amazing by the way- well done makers!). Thanks Ignite Women Tasmania. And thankyou also to Sophie Hunt to opening my eyes to the fact that the north west coast has 3 x the national average of family violence and our local crisis service can only handle 1/4 requests for support. I feel some fund raising/awareness raising clay sessions might be in order.
