What a great day at MD Quest!

Participants chose their own adventure, with one group exploring the Jim Henson Exhibition at GOMA and another discovering South Bank before taking in the views from the Wheel of Brisbane.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our first MD Quest event. We hope you had a great time and we loved seeing everyone there!

It is always such a pleasure to work alongside the lovely Ray White Bell Group family, to bring this event together. RWBG have hosted a fundraising event each year since the early 1990s for Muscular Dystrophy Qld, raising millions over the years to deliver practical supports for our community. We’re still tallying the results of this years event. Stay tuned for more good news soon!!

You do not have to manage the conversation on your own and you don't need to feel pressured into providing information on the spot.

You can ask them to call back when your support person is available and you have had time to prepare.

Congratulations to Jack, Tristram, Fred and Bryce!

It was fantastic to see members of the MDQ community recognised at the River City Futsal Club Powerchair Program end of season awards.

👏 Bryce was named Players Player

Congratulations to all on a fantastic season! We’re proud to see members of our community getting involved, having fun and being recognised for their achievements on the court. Great job!

Registrations are now open for the Becker Education & Engagement Day (BEED), taking place in Melbourne on Friday 23rd October.

This free event will bring together people living with Becker muscular dystrophy, their families, clinicians, researchers and advocacy organisations for a day of learning, connection and shared experiences.

Financial support is available for eligible attendees, including up to two nights of complimentary accommodation and travel bursaries of up to $500. Registration, catering and the conference social dinner are all provided at no cost.
