Blocked throat chakra…

My inbox is literally full of messages about it lately 👀

But genuine question…

Do you actually know how the voice physically works?

Because most people don’t have a “broken throat chakra.”

They have:

• Tension
• Fear
• Self judgement
• Too much breath pressure
• A tight larynx
• Years of holding back their voice because they’re worried what people think

“I don’t like my voice.”

“What if I sing out of tune?”

“What if people judge me?”

“What if I sound weird?”

THAT is what blocks expression.

Not because you’re spiritually broken.

Last night inside my Sonic Medicine workshop, I helped a room full of people unlock their voices…

Not through fluffy theory.

Not through “just feel it” spirituality.

But through understanding the actual physical mechanics of the voice.

Within minutes, people noticed:

✨ More ease
✨ Longer notes
✨ Less strain
✨ More confidence

One flute player went from struggling to sustain notes comfortably…

To dramatically improving breath control almost immediately.

Even the didgeridoo players felt the difference instantly.

Because when the throat relaxes properly…

The breath changes.
The resonance changes.
The confidence changes.

And suddenly…

The Biggest Myth About Recording Sound Healing Music & Why Most People Never Do?

One of the biggest things I see with sound healers and musicians…

Is people wanting to record an album or track so deeply in their heart…

But never actually starting.

Not because they’re not talented.
Not because they don’t have something beautiful to share.

Usually because they get overwhelmed before they even begin.

Too many ideas.
Too many instruments.
Too much pressure to make it “perfect.”

Today I was listening back to my album Earth Music for Yoga, Massage & Healing…

And it hit me again how simple so much of it actually is.

Some tracks only have one main musical theme.
Most have only two.
Maybe three at the absolute maximum.

That’s it.

Simple chord movements.
Simple melodies.
Space.
Breath.
Structure.

Moments where almost nothing happens.

Then little builds…
A few extra notes.
A bit more energy.
Then space again.

That album still outsells every other album I’ve released.

It still brings in new people into my world every single day.

But beyond that…

People still message me saying it helps them relax, cry, meditate, heal, reconnect, and create.

And honestly, that’s the part that means the most.

I think sometimes we forget…

Music doesn’t need to be complicated to be powerful.

Some of the most healing music in the world is simple enough that almost anyone could create it once they understand structure, emotion, tension, release, and space.

So if you’ve been sitting on music for years…

Maybe this is your reminder to stop overthinking it.

You do not need 47 layers.
You do not need perfection.
You do not need to impress people.

You just need the courage to begin.

And maybe a simple framework to help guide the process.

One of the most powerful throat chakra combinations I work with is:
A♭ over G
Every time you move into that A♭ over G…
you’ll feel it instantly.
That tension.
That edge.
That discomfort.
It brings things to the surface.
And then… when you resolve back to G…
There’s this deep sense of release.
Flow.
Space.
An exhale through your whole system.
This is where the magic is.
Not just in the note…
but in the journey between tension and resolution.
I’ve seen this create real shifts in sessions, helping people move stuck emotion, open their throat, reconnect to their voice, and drop back into their heart.
If you want to try it:
Play a steady G
Layer an A♭ over the top
Sit with the tension…
Then resolve back to G
No forcing. Just feel it.
