✨ Gratitude for Small Things & Tiny Wins ✨
I think sometimes we’re soooo busy chasing the big things…
The ultimate breakthrough.
The mind blowing healing.
The wild adventure.
That we forget the little things ARE the big things.
So, I encourage you to celebrate the small things happening in everyday life.
🌸 Making your bed.
🌸 Drinking enough water.
🌸 Going for the walk in nature.
🌸 Sending the message you’ve been putting off.
🌸 Taking a deep breath instead of reacting.
🌸 Getting to bed a little earlier.
🌸 Getting up a little earlier.
🌸 Telling the truth.
🌸 Putting your phone down.
🌸 Cooking yourself a nourishing meal.
🌸 Checking in with a friend.
🌸 Getting out of bed when things feel hard.
These things might not seem particularly exciting… but they’re often the things that change our lives.
I’m talking about making a promise to yourself… and keeping it.
Building trust with yourself.
Showing yourself that YOU MATTER.
One small action at a time 🩷
Sometimes the bravest thing we do all day is simply get up, get dressed, and show up.
As Brené Brown says:
“We can choose courage or we can choose comfort, but we can’t have both.”
And sometimes courage looks a lot less dramatic than we think it does.
Some days my win is ticking lots of things off my to-do list…
Other days my win is having a shower, eating a decent meal, and going for a walk 😂
Both count and both deserve celebrating.
