Have your say on the future of NDIS Support Coordination
Support Coordination is one of the many quality services CODA delivers to help NDIS participants understand their plans, connect with the right supports, and have greater choice and control in their lives.
The Australian Government is seeking feedback on proposed changes to the way NDIS participants receive support coordination and connection services.
A new commissioned NDIS support coordination and connection service is planned to begin from 1 July 2028, replacing the current model of support coordination.
This is an important opportunity for people with disability, families, carers, advocates, providers and the broader disability community to share their views and help shape how the new service should work.
Feedback is being sought on things like:
- what the new service should do
- how providers should be commissioned
- quality and safeguarding
- how demand should be managed
- how people can be supported through the transition
If you or someone you support uses Support Coordination — or if you care about the future of quality, person-centred NDIS services — we encourage you to read the information and make a submission.
Consultation closes at 11.59 pm AEST on 2 October 2026.
