On Oct 2nd 2004, 13 people got together to have a run at Bushy Park in Teddington, England. I am sure none of those present on that day could have imagined what they were starting ... 🤔

Fast forward 22 years: 2,325 5k parkruns, 532 junior 2k parkruns, an average of 398,000 5k and 40,000 junior participants each week, 54,000 volunteers making it happen each week, new locations being added each week in over 20 countries ... new friends, stronger communities 🧡

So this week we celebrate parkruns 22nd birthday and reflect on the way it has changed lives for the better and brought people together ! And for a little bit of fun, we are calling for as many tutus as we can get on course 🤗🤗

See y'all Saturday morning - 6.50am first timers, 7am start 😁😁
** parking may be at a premium so ensure you leave extra time to allow for that **

Early shoutout! Can anyone help out with finish tokens this Saturday? It's the happiest job of them all 🧡
