The more I learn about human behaviour, the more I’m reminded that lasting change rarely comes from trying harder.

It often begins with understanding ourselves more deeply.

Our patterns, habits and responses are usually telling us something.

The question is…

Are we willing to get curious enough to listen? 🤍

Have you ever found yourself thinking:

“I know what I need to do… so why do I keep doing the opposite?”

You’re not alone.

So many women know they need to:

* slow down,
* set boundaries,
* stop people pleasing,
* prioritise themselves,
* or let go of old patterns…

and yet still find themselves stuck in the same cycle.

Not because they’re lazy.
Not because they’re failing.

But because lasting change often requires more than awareness alone.

So much of what drives our behaviours, habits and emotional responses lives within the subconscious mind.

This is why understanding ourselves is important.

But it’s also why deeper healing and change can feel so powerful.

Sometimes the issue isn’t knowing what to do.

Sometimes it’s understanding what’s been keeping you stuck in the first place 🤍

Have you ever caught yourself wondering:

“What if this is just who I am now?”

The overwhelm.

The exhaustion.

The anxiety.

The emotional reactivity.

The feeling disconnected from yourself.

Over time, many women stop asking if things can change and start believing this is simply how life has to be.

But what if it isn’t?

What if the way you’re feeling right now isn’t your forever?

Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but with the right support, awareness and willingness to look beneath the surface, things can begin to shift.

Sometimes hope begins with simply believing change is possible 🤍

Some of my favourite conversations happen over a cuppa tea 🤍

Today was one of those beautiful reminders of the power of slowing down, listening and sharing stories.

A huge thank you to for joining us and bringing such openness and wisdom to the conversation. I can’t wait to share this episode with you all.

And a special thank you to my beautiful friend and producer Belene, who continues to help bring this vision to life. What we’re creating together feels very special.

These conversations are a reminder that sometimes the healing, growth and clarity we’re searching for begin with simply being seen, heard and understood.

Stay tuned ☕✨

One of the biggest things I wish more women understood is this:

You can consciously WANT change…
while your subconscious mind and nervous system still feel unsafe.

Which is why healing often goes deeper than simply “thinking positively.”

So many emotional patterns are connected to:

* subconscious beliefs,
* emotional conditioning,
* nervous system protection,
* and survival responses the body has learned over time.

This is why women often say:
“I know what I should be doing… but I still keep reacting the same way.”

Because healing isn’t just logical.

It’s emotional.
Subconscious.
Nervous system deep.

And when the body finally begins feeling safe again…
everything starts to soften 🤍

You are not broken.
Your body may simply be trying to protect you.

If this resonated with you… perhaps this is your sign to begin becoming more aware of what your body has been trying to communicate all along ✨

So many women are functioning in survival mode without even realising it.

And eventually the body begins communicating through:

exhaustion,

overwhelm,

anxiety,

emotional reactivity,

overstimulation,

and burnout.

This is why nervous system healing matters so deeply 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions around burnout and emotional overwhelm is this:

People assume struggling always “looks” obvious.

But so many women are:

* still functioning,
* still parenting,
* still showing up,
* still working,
* still smiling…

while internally feeling exhausted, overstimulated and emotionally overwhelmed.

And because they’re still coping externally, they minimise how much they’re actually carrying.

But high-functioning doesn’t always mean well.

So many women have simply become experts at surviving.

This is why nervous system healing matters so deeply.

Because eventually the body starts asking for support:
through exhaustion,
reactivity,
anxiety,
shutdown,
overwhelm,
and emotional fatigue.

You do not have to wait until you completely fall apart before allowing yourself support 🤍

Looking back on this conversation now, I can see how much my own journey has shaped the work I do today 🤍

Last year I had the opportunity to sit down with The Freedom Architects Podcast for a deeply honest conversation around:

* grief,
* emotional overwhelm,
* burnout,
* nervous system exhaustion,
* subconscious patterns,
* healing,
* and the journey back to yourself.

At different points in my life, I know what it feels like to appear like you’re holding everything together on the outside…
while internally feeling disconnected, emotionally exhausted or quietly overwhelmed.

And honestly, it’s those experiences — alongside the healing, support and inner work — that have shaped the way I now hold space for other women.

Because so many women are silently carrying so much.

This conversation reminded me how powerful honest and supportive spaces can be.
Not because we need perfection…
but because women need to feel seen, understood and less alone in what they’re navigating.

And now, being surrounded by other incredible women doing meaningful work in this space feels incredibly special too ✨

I’m so grateful to have been part of this conversation and excited that the episode has officially been released this week 🤍

There’s something really special about women coming together for honest conversations 🤍

The kind of conversations where masks come off…
where women finally feel safe to speak openly about:

* overwhelm,
* emotional exhaustion,
* motherhood,
* healing,
* nervous system burnout,
* identity,
* and the quiet pressure so many have been carrying for far too long.

Lately I’ve been feeling deeply called to create more spaces for these conversations.

Not perfectly polished conversations.
Not surface-level conversations.

Real ones.

The kind that make women feel:
“me too.”
“I thought I was the only one.”
“I finally feel seen.”

And one thing I’m loving deeply through this process is the power of women supporting women ✨

Creating alongside beautiful, heart-led women who genuinely want to hold space for meaningful conversations feels incredibly special.

So behind the scenes lately…
something beautiful has been quietly unfolding ☕️

A Cuppa Tea with Heidi Lee is officially in production mode.

A space for heartfelt, honest and healing conversations for women.

And honestly…
I cannot wait to share these conversations with you.

Stay tuned 🤍

So many women are living in survival mode without even realising it.

They’ve become so used to functioning while overwhelmed, overstimulated and emotionally exhausted… that it starts to feel normal.

But survival mode has a cost.

It can look like:
- emotional reactivity,
- shutting down,
- constant overstimulation,
- anxiety,
- exhaustion,
- guilt,
- or feeling disconnected from yourself.

And often, women blame themselves for these responses instead of recognising what their nervous system has been carrying.

Your body is not working against you.
Your nervous system has simply been trying to protect you for too long.

This is why nervous system healing matters so deeply.

Because when the body finally begins to feel safe again…
everything starts to shift.

🤍
