Ayurveda Village

Ayurveda Village Helping people transform their health with Ayurvedic health & wellness retreats in the serene Adelaide Hills. Ayurveda recognizes that we are not all the same.

Enjoy personalised treatments & nurturing care with our Revive Mental Health, rejuvenation, detox, weight loss, pain management & custom retreats The concept of Ayurveda Village was inspired after constant visits to India, the home of Ayurveda and experiences at our sister company, Aspects of Healing where Ayurveda has been improving the lives of many who enter our doors. Our vision is to create a

peaceful nurturing and spiritual environment where people can recuperate, rejuvenate and reacquaint themselves with who they really are. A place where they can shed layer upon layer of the material, emotional and spiritual toxins they have accumulated over the years and find their ‘core’. Ayurveda Village is at its early stages of development. Positioned on nine acres of beautiful land in the Adelaide Hills, it is laced with gum trees, green grass and beautiful gardens. Sitting on the top of the hill is a re-designed house where we invite you to come and join us for a cup of Ayurvedic tea and sit in the gardens and just be. Enjoy the birds signing in the trees, the lush gardens, and the wind whistling around your ears as you become in tune with the environment. We are each unique and therefore need something different. At Ayurveda Village, we offer Yoga, workshops and traditional, classical Ayurveda treatments including Pancha Karma customised to each individual in an environment conducive to health and healing. At the same time, we are committed to education and empowering our clients to know and understand their constitution and what creates the imbalances that cause dis-ease. We look forward to welcoming you to our Ayurveda Village soon.

Your daily pace matters.
Modern life often asks us to do more.
Wake early.
Work.
Answer messages.
Rush from one commitment to another.
Stay connected.
Keep going.
Ayurveda offers another perspective.
Our bodies are influenced by pace — including sleep, food, movement, rest and the changing seasons.
At Ayurveda Village, we encourage guests to experience a different pace.
Rise gently.
Move.
Nourish.
Rest.
Reflect.
Wellness doesn’t always require doing more.
Sometimes it requires creating space for less.

Why does Ayurveda place so much importance on digestion?
In Ayurveda, digestion is considered fundamental to wellbeing.
It isn’t only about what we eat.
It is also about how we digest, absorb and respond to what we consume.
This is why Ayurvedic approaches often consider:
What you eat.
When you eat.
How you eat.
How well you digest.
Small changes to daily habits can become meaningful when they are consistent and appropriate for the individual.
Sometimes wellbeing begins with something as simple as paying closer attention to the next meal.

What does “balance” actually mean in Ayurveda?
Balance doesn’t mean feeling perfect every day.
It means understanding what supports your individual wellbeing — and recognising when you have moved away from it.

Ayurveda considers qualities such as:
• sleep
• digestion
• energy
• movement
• appetite
• emotional wellbeing
• daily routine
• seasonal changes

Rather than waiting until the body demands attention, Ayurveda encourages us to develop greater awareness of these signals.

Prevention begins with awareness.

A different kind of retreat.
There is a reason Ayurveda Village is set amongst the Adelaide Hills.
Wellbeing is not simply about what happens inside the treatment room.
It is also about stepping away.
Breathing more deeply.
Eating nourishing food.
Moving gently.
Sleeping well.
Spending time in nature.
Allowing the body to slow down.
Our retreats create space for this kind of restoration — combining Ayurvedic care, education, nourishment and time to simply be.
Less rushing. More rhythm.

Ayurveda doesn’t begin with a treatment.
It begins with understanding you.

Two people may arrive with the same complaint, yet require very different approaches.
Why?
Because Ayurveda recognises that every individual is different.
Your constitution, history, lifestyle, digestion, sleep, environment and current state all contribute to the picture.
This is why an Ayurvedic consultation is not simply a list of symptoms.
It is a conversation.
A process of observation.
And an opportunity to understand your health from a different perspective.
Individuality is at the heart of Ayurveda.

Your body is always communicating.
We often notice the obvious signs first.
A restless night’s sleep.
A change in digestion.
Feeling more tired than usual.
Stiffness when you wake.
A mind that doesn’t seem to settle.

In Ayurveda, these experiences are not considered separately.
They are part of a larger picture.
Your constitution.
Your daily pace.
Your digestion.
Your environment.
Your emotions.
Your habits.

Ayurveda asks us to look at the whole person and consider what may have moved away from balance.

Perhaps wellbeing begins with listening differently.

At Ayurveda Village, this philosophy informs everything we do.

As the leaves begin to fall and the air turns crisp in Adelaide, Ayurveda teaches us that nature is signalling a time of transition.

Autumn is governed by the Vata dosha, which is associated with air and space.

This shift can bring qualities of dryness, cold, and movement into both the environment and our bodies.
You may start to notice:
• Dry skin or lips
• Increased anxiety or restlessness
• Trouble sleeping
• Digestive irregularities
This is your body asking for grounding and nourishment.

🌿 How to stay balanced this Autumn:
• Favour warm, cooked, and nourishing meals
• Sip on herbal teas throughout the day
• Establish a calming daily routine
• Prioritise rest and gentle self-care
• Use warm oils for self-massage (Abhyanga)
Autumn is not a time to push. It’s a time to slow down, soften, and reconnect.

Let this season be your reminder to come back to balance.
If you’re feeling the effects of seasonal change, our personalised Ayurvedic treatments are here to support you.

There’s a moment at Ayurveda Village that most guests never forget.

It’s not when they arrive.
And it’s not during a treatment.

It’s the moment their mind goes quiet…
their body feels lighter…
and they realise:

This is what I’m supposed to feel like.

No brain fog.
No constant fatigue.
No heaviness after eating.

Just clarity.
Lightness.
Energy.

That’s the shift we create.

And it begins sooner than you think.
