Good aesthetic medicine starts with a consultation, not a treatment menu.

At Wagga Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Clinic, we start by understanding what concerns you, assessing your skin and facial anatomy, and talking about what you’d like to achieve. From there, we can discuss what may help — and sometimes whether treatment is needed at all.

Many aesthetic treatments involve prescription medicines, medical devices or procedures with genuine risks. We believe they deserve thoughtful assessment, informed consent and the same attention to safety as any other area of medicine.

Our doctors and nurses work together in an accredited medical clinic, with access to a broad range of treatments for skin quality, ageing and facial concerns. That means your plan can be built around you, rather than around a particular treatment.

We favour considered treatment, healthy skin and results that still look like you — not chasing trends or changing the features that make your face your own.

Expertise. Integrity. Individuality.

Welcome to Wagga Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Clinic!
Dr Margaret Donaldson joined us a few weeks ago and we were too busy rebranding to formally introduce her 🤭
Head to our website to read all her qualifications, but read on here to get to know her better:

1. Why general practice?

What do I love most about GP - meeting a range of different people and hearing all about their lives, careers, families, hobbies and interests - every day is a school day in general practice, and I learn all sorts of new things from all my patients.

2. Why skin special interest?

I am passionate about skin cancer medicine because it disproportionately affects rural communities and yet we have fewer services and specialised practitioners. As an enthusiastic consumer of aesthetic products, I look forward to helping others improve their skin confidence!

3. What do you get up to on the weekends?

On the weekends I look after our animals (dogs, goats, chickens, cows and horse), work in the garden and plant trees to rehabilitate our creek and farm (3000+ and counting!). Every now and then we take a trip to Melbourne or Sydney to see a musical and eat at a fancy pants restaurant.

4. Favourite dinosaur 🦖?

My absolute favourite dinosaur is my mum Jen - no contest there!!
(😱sorry to Jen if she’s reading )

Dr Margaret will be offering skin cancer checks, benign lesion removal and medical skin conditions. She is also seeing some of our existing GP patients. New patients welcome for skin checks and skin conditions. Book online or call our team

We have a new name!

Central Wagga Medical and Skin Clinic is now Wagga Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Clinic.

While our name has changed, the people behind the clinic have not. You’ll still see the same familiar doctors, nurses and front of house team, and we’ll continue to provide the same thoughtful, personalised care our patients know us for.

Our new name simply reflects the direction our clinic has been growing for some time, with a greater focus on skin cancer medicine, medical skin care and aesthetics, alongside our ongoing women’s health and selected general practice services.

We’ll continue to provide:
• Skin cancer checks, diagnosis and treatment
• Medical aesthetic skin treatments
• Laser and energy-based treatments
• Women’s health, including contraception, IUDs, pregnancy care and menopause
• Selected general practice services

For us, Wagga Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Clinic is more than a new name. It better represents what we do every day: helping our patients look after their skin health, detect skin cancer early, and access evidence-based treatments in a medical setting.

Same team. Same clinic. Same commitment to your care. Just a name that fits us better.

Welcome to Wagga Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Clinic.

Looking for an aesthetic clinician?

The first step with us is a thorough consultation.

At Central Wagga Medical & Skin Clinic, we take time to look at your skin, listen to what is bothering you and explain what treatment options may or may not be suitable.

Coming in with a treatment in mind is completely normal. But that does not mean it is the right treatment for your skin, your anatomy or your concerns.

That is why we start with a consultation, not a treatment menu.

We see patients for cosmetic skin concerns, laser treatments, redness, pigmentation, texture, skin ageing and general skin advice.

Care is provided in an accredited medical practice by an experienced doctor and nurse team.

Appointments are available online or by calling the clinic.

Today we enjoyed welcoming Manda from to take us through a medi-facial protocol we will use post laser treatments.
It was so delightful we have decided to offer it not just post treatment, but as a stand alone skin recovery medi-facial.

☀️ Do you need a skin check?

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world.

You should consider a skin check if you:
✔️ Have fair skin or a history of sun exposure
✔️ Have had sunburns (especially as a child)
✔️ Notice new or changing spots
✔️ Have a personal or family history of skin cancer
✔️ Work or spend a lot of time outdoors

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in Australia — but when detected early, outcomes are very good.

At Central Wagga Medical & Skin Clinic, your skin is assessed by experienced GPs with advanced training in skin cancer medicine.
Our doctors hold accreditation with the Skin Cancer College Australasia and use dermoscopy to carefully examine and monitor your skin.

We offer:
🔍 Comprehensive full skin checks
🩺 Spot checks for concerning lesions
✂️ Surgical and non-surgical treatment options
📸 Ongoing monitoring when needed using Serial Digital Monitoring tools including Fotofinder and DermEngine

Peace of mind starts with a check.
