Recently Aged Care Employee day was acknowledged at both our sites in a meaningful way that put the spotlight on all our wonderful people. At Kings Langley, Director of Care Savanthie led the celebrations with tributes, awards and plenty of joy, recognising team members nominated by residents and their peers for their dedication and outstanding contributions.
At Wahroonga, Director of Care Roshan brought everyone together to recognise and celebrate team members whose compassion, commitment and care make such a difference to our residents.
Across both sites, it was a purposeful opportunity to pause, reflect and say a heartfelt thank you to the people who give so much to those in their care — each team celebrating in their own special way.
Recognition is something we value deeply, because every person has an important part to play in making our homes and villages places where residents truly feel at home. It is found in the quiet, one-on-one moments of care, the conversations that bring a smile, the laughter shared and the countless small gestures that bring joy to our residents, their families and friends.
From the people who tend our beautiful grounds, keep our homes clean and welcoming, ensure fresh linen, fix the little things, care for residents, listen and encourage as chaplains, keep everything ticking through administration, and help residents stay strong through nutritious meals and daily physiotherapy — every role matters.
Every act of kindness, every helping hand and every moment of care adds to the lives of the people we support. Every contribution is valued, recognised and important.
