What’s your song?

What’s your song?

We set out to create Australia’s most-loved Final Playlist, and the results speak for themselves. 🎶

More than 260 songs were submitted, spanning 245 albums and 239 artists, and we’ve been blown away by the excitement, honesty and openness behind every choice.
So, which song topped Australia’s Final Playlist?

🥁 Paul Kelly’s “Meet Me in the Middle of the Air” takes the top spot.

But the playlist is about so much more than the songs themselves.

People chose songs connected to family and friends, memories and milestones, values, humour, hope — and the way they’d like to be remembered.

One simple question has sparked hundreds of meaningful conversations about what matters most. And that’s exactly what we hoped for.

Have you found yourself unsure of how to support someone who is grieving? Here are five simple ways we can be with someone who’s grieving: 1) Sit in silence and bring a warm drink. 2) Offer one specific help (meals, mowing, childcare). 3) Check in regularly, not just once. 4) Listen without fixing or sharing advice. 5) Respect their pace and normalise small steps. We run Death Cafes and local events across Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta, and Beechworth to connect people and build support. Visit https://www.g2gproject.com.au/event-list to find events and sign up. How have you supported someone through grief? Share below. 🕯️🤝
