The Wellness Workshop

The Wellness Workshop Employee wellbeing programs & workshops that foster organisational productivity & performance.

The Wellness Workshop was originally founded as a welcoming space to help sufferers of mental illness and a range of lifestyle issues access support services such as Dietetics & Nutrition, Intuitive Eating, Exercise Physiology, Wellness Coaching and Meditation. Today, we are focused on improving the health and wellbeing of Australians through workplace wellbeing programs as well as in-person and v

irtual workshops for a range of organisations including the private and public sector, schools and sporting clubs. We align with the Health At Every Size (HAES) philosophy which focuses on improving overall health behaviours for all individuals regardless of their size or shape. Our programs are designed in line with evidence based approaches by a range of qualified practitioners. We are not social media influencers or sponsored by any affiliate companies meaning you get real, measurable, effective strategies that are tailored to your organisation.

Stress management isn’t about doing less but rather harnessing your energy more strategically.

The Yerkes-Dodson Curve demonstrates that we often perform best when we’re in our optimal arousal zone. This is where we're not under-stimulated, not overwhelmed, but alert, focused and engaged.

One simple workplace strategy? Start noticing when you naturally feel most switched on during your workday, then schedule your most challenging tasks during that window.

It’s a practical way to improve focus, reduce unnecessary stress and work with your brain instead of against it.

This is one of the many simple, evidence-based tools we explore in our Stress Management Workshop, helping individuals better understand their stress response while implementing practical strategies to optimise performance and productivity.

Self-awareness is one of the most powerful foundations for better communication, stronger relationships and more effective teams.

The Self-Awareness Workshop helps employees understand how their beliefs, assumptions, experiences and perceptions influence the way they communicate, respond to others and navigate workplace situations.

Through practical reflection, group discussion and interactive activities, teams learn how to move from judgement to curiosity, reduce misunderstandings and build more empathetic, respectful ways of working together.

Perfect for teams wanting to strengthen communication, trust, collaboration and emotional intelligence.

Why do we collect anonymous feedback? It allows participants to share how they truly feel.

Some of our best ideas have come from participant feedback - A telling sign individuals are really engaging and connecting during a session.

Plus, it's always so rewarding to share positive feedback like these comments with our facilitation team who are so passionate about what they do!

Friday's Facilitator Spotlight: Health & Performance Coach Huss shares 5 Random Facts About Himself:
1. Behind the decks: I’m a DJ in my spare time — nothing gets me in flow like a good trance set.
2. Always experimenting: I’m obsessed with optimising health and wellbeing. I’m constantly testing new tools, habits, and hacks to see what actually works.
3. Community first: I coach my kids’ soccer and footy teams. It tests my patience… but also fuels my passion for helping others grow and improve.
4. Food faves: Sushi is my go-to — endless combos, never boring. And when it’s time for a treat? Carrot cake, no question.
5. Mental health ritual: As a National Physique Competitor, daily training is non-negotiable. My other sanity savers? Planning my day, cutting digital noise, and asking myself when I am struggling with something: What if it was easy?

Keen to get Huss into your workplace? Huss facilitates the hugely popular Power of Habits Workshop, Sleep Hygiene Workshop, Nutrition For Life and Movement For Life. He is an absolute beacon of knowledge and really walks the walk when it comes to health and wellbeing.

One of the biggest pieces of feedback we hear from organisations is that they want training and wellbeing initiatives to feel genuine, ongoing and embedded into culture - not just a once-a-year activity.

That’s one of the reasons our virtual wellbeing packages have become so popular for organisations with multiple locations, hybrid teams or national workforces.

Plus, when you book 4+ sessions per year, you'll benefit from up to 25% off your total investment.

A simple way to create more continuity, stronger engagement and ongoing conversations around employee wellbeing throughout the year.

There’s something really powerful about supporting teams consistently across a full year rather than through a single one-off session.

This photo was taken during a recent virtual Stress Management Seminar delivered by Jeremy Parker for the team at National Portrait Gallery Australia as part of an ongoing wellbeing series.

For teams spread across multiple locations, virtual workshops can be such a meaningful way to keep conversations around wellbeing, stress and communication continuing over time rather than becoming a once-off moment.

There’s always something special about working with teams in the early education sector. The care, patience and emotional investment educators and support staff bring into their work every single day is enormous.

As a whole, the industry makes up the Top 5 industries we partner with for training and wellbeing workshops across Victoria. This session, facilitated by the lovely Tanya with the team at was one of those sessions filled with openness, laughter, reflection and really meaningful conversations.

The average participant rating for this session (Communication Skills 2 hour Workshop) was 8.92/10, and we left feeling incredibly grateful to support another team doing such important work behind the scenes for children and families.
