The latest NDIS Quarterly Report is out!
The April - June 2026 Quarterly Report gives us a snapshot of the NDIS and the people it supports.

Here are some of the key numbers:
👥 782,013 NDIS participants as at 30 June 2026
👧 162,781 participants were children under 9
➕ 16,138 people joined the NDIS during the quarter
💼 24% of participants aged 15–64 have paid employment
💰 69% of participants have their funding managed by a Plan Manager
🙋 25% choose to self-manage their funding
🏛️ 6% have their funding NDIA-managed
💵 $51.2 billion was provided for participant supports in the year to 30 June 2026
📈 $2.91 billion was spent on running the NDIS — 5.7% of the total cost.

The NDIS continues to support hundreds of thousands of Australians, with Plan Management remaining the most commonly chosen way for participants to manage their funding.

🚨 NDIS Plan Management Reforms – What You Need to Know

We've had a few questions about the proposed changes to NDIS Plan Management, so we wanted to provide some reassurance.

While a new government-approved panel of Plan Managers is expected to commence from 1 October 2027, nothing changes right now.

✅ You can continue using your current Plan Manager.
✅ New participants can still choose any registered Plan Manager.
✅ It's business as usual.

At Pacific Plan Management, we're already preparing for these upcoming reforms. As a registered provider that specialises solely in Plan Management, we've worked hard to build strong compliance practices and high-quality systems to ensure we're well positioned when applications for the new panel open.

While no provider can guarantee approval before the NDIA completes its assessment process, we're confident in the work we've done and remain committed to supporting our participants and providers for many years to come.

As more information becomes available, we'll continue to keep our community informed every step of the way.

Changes are coming to the NDIS — and there’s a lot to keep track of.

The NDIS has released an updated timeline outlining when key changes from the Securing the NDIS for Future Generations reforms are expected to take effect.

We’ve put together a simple timeline covering the key changes from 2026 through to 2028.

Today we’re showing our support for Daffodil Day and the Cancer Council’s ongoing work to support people affected by cancer.

Daffodils are a symbol of hope, resilience and brighter days ahead — something we can all get behind.

This year marks 40 years of Daffodil Day, and what an incredible milestone it is.

A few facts:
Cancer Council has funded more cancer research than any other non-government organisation in Australia.
More than $47.3 million has been invested in cancer research projects.
This research has helped contribute to cancer survival rates increasing from 46% in the late 1980s to around 72% today.

What an amazing achievement 👏 and a wonderful reminder of the difference research, support and hope can make.

📢 NDIS News

The NDIS Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026 has passed the Senate following an agreement between the Government and Coalition, which resulted in 63 amendments to the Bill.

The Bill will now return to the House of Representatives. If passed, it will introduce significant changes to the NDIS, including changes relating to access, planning, funding and scheme integrity.

There is understandably a lot of discussion and concern around these proposed reforms.

At Pacific Plan Management, we’ll continue to keep up to date with the legislation and share information as the next steps become clearer.

For now, if you’re an NDIS participant, provider or support coordinator, there is no need to make any immediate changes based solely on today’s announcement.
