Stressful job/life? MEDITATE 5min! Well ok but it's too hard. And how do I do it?

Yeah you could try to achieve guru state on day 1 and have no thoughts at all. OR! You can start where you are.
Meditation is a skill. A muscle. It strengthens with repetition and overtime.
If you're new to meditating, start with a guided journey/meditation. That'll keep your mind occupied.
You may also want to start training one pointedness of focus: the ability to intentionally choose one thought and only have that one for however long you choose. Dreamy, right! Yes but start with a 2 second target, then 5s, 10s, 30s, 1 min. Keep building up, be patient, and non judgemental.
Or! You can simply start with slowing your breath so you can tell your body: you are safe. No need to stay in a state of urgency (where your mind is busy with 10k thoughts, your emotions are erratic and your body is constantly tense, yuk!)
Notice how long your inhale is and double or triple that on the exhale. 2s in? Make it 4 or 6s out. It'll tell your body you're in control, and it is safe to soften.
Do that for 5 min before bed and watch what it does for your sleep xx
