This Christmas, Aspire disABILITY is proud to be supporting the Zonta House Christmas Appeal, collecting new and unwrapped gifts for women, children and families supported by Zonta House Refuge Association.

🎁 Suggested donations include:
⭐ Self-care, beauty products, perfume, jewellery and handbags
⭐ Toys, LEGO, Play-Doh, sports equipment and plush toys
⭐ Art and craft kits, headphones and outdoor activities
⭐ Gift vouchers for Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Target, Myer, movies, experiences and more

📅 Donations close Thursday 3rd December

Every gift, big or small, can help bring hope, joy and connection to families experiencing hardship this Christmas. 💜

💛 A little donation can make a BIG difference.

😊 We’re incredibly proud to have supported OzHarvest throughout the 2025/26 year, donating 131kg of rescued food — helping provide approximately 263 meals to people who need them most.

Together with more than 300 generous donors across WA, OzHarvest rescued an incredible 2.38 million kg of food, helping deliver around 4.76 million meals to food relief charities, schools and shelters across Western Australia. 💛

😊 At Aspire DisABILITY, we’re proud to play even a small part in supporting our wider community and helping good food go where it’s needed most.

🐶💛 NATIONAL DOG DAY – 26 AUGUST 💛🐶

Today we celebrate dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes and the incredible difference they can make in our lives.

For many people living with disability, dogs can provide much more than companionship. Assistance and support dogs can help with everyday tasks, improve independence and confidence, provide emotional support and help reduce feelings of stress and isolation. 🐾

Depending on their training, assistance dogs can also help by:
🐕‍🦺 Alerting to certain medical events or changes
💊 Reminding or assisting with daily routines and medication
🦽 Retrieving items, opening doors and assisting with mobility
💛 Providing calming support during anxiety or distress
👥 Encouraging social connection and participation in the community

Today is also a reminder that every dog deserves the opportunity to live a happy, safe and loved life. 🐶💛
