Stroke recovery isn't just something we do, it's something this whole team is genuinely obsessed with getting right. We attend Smart Strokes, team members have obtained Smart Strokes Scholarships and we've also sat on the ACI working party for stroke recovery and rehabilitation. Some of our team have worked as senior stroke OTs in inpatient and rehab settings before joining us, so we understand the whole journey, hospital bed to home.

To celebrate National Stroke week here are some milestone we have achieved this week with our stroke survivors:

🛞 A new power wheelchair, so a mum can drop her son at school and get back to the beach
🏊 A pool accessibility review, so someone can return to their upper limb program in the water
🚌 Community transport practice, building the confidence to get out alone
💪 Ongoing upper limb therapy
